Road to FSGP Content Series

The Challenge

Rutgers Solar Car (RSC) is a student organization that designs, builds, and races solar powered vehicles. To educate students and potential sponsors about our clubs mission, technical achievements, and future competition plans, we wanted to create a content series that was both informational and entertaining to watch.

The Solution

The Road to FSGP content series is centered around the Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP), the main competition our organization competes in. Each episode in the series starts with a countdown of the days we have left until competition (or until we need to accomplish a major milestone). After the introduction each episode focuses on a specific sub-team within RSC that is working on a key component of the car and is hosted by the leads of the respective sub-teams. While Road to FSGP is meant to be a series, each episode is designed in a way that viewers do not need to watch the previous episodes to comprehend the storyline.

The Result

The series amassed 17,000+ views across Instagram and LinkedIn with 400+ likes. By breaking down the complex and technical nature of our organization into bite-sized episodes we were able to reach new students who previously didn't know anything about our club and potential sponsors.
